On Monday, May 29, two Victoria East High School vocal music students competed at the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest in Pflugerville.
East Juniors Caleb Duram and Sarah Woods were each awarded a UIL State 1st Division Gold Medal for their vocal solo performances.
โAll of our students performed well and conducted themselves as responsible young adults,โ said VEHS Choral Director Michael Petrisky. โCaleb and Sarah are to be congratulated on this superior achievement at the state level.โ
