Honor Choir

The VISD 5th Grade Honor Choir takes place during the 3rd nine weeks of school, from January through March.

Students audition for this choir by singing "The Star Spangled Banner" for Mrs. Richter. The number of students in this choir is limited to 15.

We meet once a week during Friday clubs, and again one afternoon a week at the Victoria Fine Arts Center for rehearsals. Fifth grade students from each elementary campus participate in this choir. The Honor Choir concert is held at the Victoria Fine Arts Center in the Spring.

Kickball

Chandler kickball is a seasonal sport played by 5th graders after school. The season begins in September and ends in November. The 5th grade 4 Square Club meets Friday mornings from 7:15 - 7:45 a.m.  This club starts in November and ends in May.
