Victoria ISD has transitioned to e-flyer distribution through Peachjar! Our goal is to continue streamlining and improving our communications processes.

What is Peachjar:

The Peachjar system manages electronic flyer distribution on behalf of Victoria ISD as a resource for our parents to stay more connected to both our internal support organizations (like PTA and Booster Clubs) and to approved non-profit community partners.

The Peachjar e-flyer service is also provided as an opportunity for non-profit organizations to share information that is supportive to VISD parents and students and is not a source of advertising revenue for the district.

To request flyer approval:

Once approved, per policy GKDA (Local), your flyer will be emailed to all parents. Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed.

• Register as a Program Provider (account type)

• Upload your flyer for approval

Your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district office. District staff will review the material and approve or deny based on the standards below:

• Materials shall include the name of the person or organization sponsoring the distribution.

• No materials will be approved for distribution during the first full week of school, the week before Winter Break, the first week of the Spring semester, during STAAR testing, and the final two weeks of school.

• If at any time it is determined that previous flyers presented for approval contained false information or did not accurately represent the intent of the program, the approval of future flyers from the requesting organization will be jeopardized.

• Material is in accordance with School Board Policy GKDA (LOCAL).

• All flyers MUST have the following disclaimer statement located at the bottom of the material.
  Disclaimer should be in BOLD with CAPITALIZED LETTERS in 12-point font or larger.
  "THIS ORGANIZATION AND ITS ACTIVITIES ARE NOT RELATED TO OR SPONSORED
  BY THE VICTORIA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT"

Peachjar charges a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost of copying and delivering paper flyers to each school.

Non-Profit Organizations:

Nonprofit organizations interested in submitting a flyer for distribution are kindly invited to complete the form below to establish a nonprofit account.

A new form will need to be completed every school year.

*NOTE: These instructions do not apply to any parent group at one of our VISD schools. There is also no cost for school/parent groups, contact your campus for more information.

Flyer approval does not constitute an endorsement. Approval simply means the material has been reviewed and meets the guidelines for district-wide electronic distribution. VISD administration reserves the right to rescind approval to any organization or person if a complaint is received or the organization or person is found to be in violation of instructions.
