Mark your calendars! On Saturday, May 6, 2023, the Early Childhood Center at F.W. Gross will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a registration round-up for all VISD families.
Doors will be open for families in the community to participate in Priority Student Registration, which runs from May 1 thru May 31, 2023, for the 2023-24 school year.
F. W. Gross has a historic legacy of making great things happen in our community!
The Early Childhood Center at F.W. Gross aims to continue a powerful legacy of helping our community by opening up our doors to any family that may need help with registering their child in VISD for the 2023-24 school year.
The new three-year-old program at ECC at F.W. Gross has truly been a blessing for the community and district, and the goal is to continue serving three-year-old students, through a partnership with the Innovative Network of Knowledge (INK), an Early Head Start provider. Our Early Childhood program serves our youngest learners and is now located on the F.W. Gross campus.
If you have a child that will be three on or before September 1, 2023, please come out on Saturday, May 6, 2023. An INK Family Specialist will be available to help and answer any questions that parents/guardians may have.
Parents that are interested in Pre-K3 will also be able to tour one of the classrooms.
VISD staff will be available onsite to assist parents and guardians with the registration process, including scanning and uploading the required documents. Parents/guardians are asked to bring a picture id, proof of residence, immunization records, proof of income, birth certificates/guardianship paperwork, social security card, and insurance card.
Those who participate in priority student registration will also receive a food ticket to enjoy a fun lunch!
By completing online student Priority Registration between May 1-31, families are able to secure seats at their Elementary Home Zoned Campus and/or support Secondary Student Course Selections.
