Beginning Monday, June 3rd, and continuing through Friday, July 26th, VISD will implement this modified work schedule, aimed at optimizing operational efficiency during the summer months. The Modified Summer Work Schedule is designed to accommodate the unique needs of our employees and the community during this period.
During the specified period, most VISD facilities, campuses, and employees will adhere to the following schedule:
Monday through Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
It is important to note that this schedule excludes maintenance department employees and summer school program employees whose hours may vary based on program requirements.
Regular work hours will resume on Monday, July 29, 2024.
