The Victoria Independent School District (VISD) is pleased to announce the continuation of the Gold Card Club program for the 2024-25 school year. This program, reintroduced last year, allows eligible Victoria County residents free entry to all VISD-hosted home athletic and cultural events, except UIL playoff events and the district musical.
The Gold Card Club is an expression of gratitude to community members who have supported VISD, its students, and schools over the years. Their dedication and continued contributions have been instrumental in shaping a better, brighter future for VISD students. With the Gold Card, residents can continue to show their support for VISD events at no cost.
Eligibility for the Gold Card Club is applicants must be 62 years of age or older and must reside in Victoria County.
To apply for a VISD Gold Card, eligible residents are invited to visit the VISD Administration Building at 102 Profit Drive beginning Monday, August 12, 2024. Applications will be available, and proof of age and residency, such as a valid driver’s license or identification card, will be required to secure your card.
“We are thrilled to continue this program as a way to acknowledge and thank the community members who have been steadfast supporters of our district extracurricular programs,” said Spencer Gantt, Athletic Director. “The Gold Card Club not only provides free access to our events but also strengthens the bond between VISD and the community.”
