Building on the success of its inaugural year, the VISD Connections Center is pleased to announce the continuation of its popular Toddler Time program, which recommenced on Friday, Sept. 6th for its second year.
Toddler Time is crafted to foster an early love for reading and collaborative learning between parents and toddlers. Each session begins with a story narrated by an instructor, followed by parents and children reading together. The program enhances the experience with take-home activities designed to extend learning and interaction in the home environment.
"As we enter the third year of Toddler Time, the enthusiasm and commitment of our families remain high," said Stephanie Price-De La Rosa. "This program is a testament to our dedication to early childhood education, providing a platform for young learners to start their educational journey under the guidance and participation of their first teachers—their parents."
In addition to reading, the program emphasizes the importance of play in learning, offering structured playtime that underlines the educational value of engagement and interaction.
The VISD Connections warmly invites new and returning families to become part of this enriching program. Toddler Time is more than just a learning initiative; it is a launchpad for the educational adventures that lie ahead in the lives of our youngest scholars.
Toddler Time is every Friday at 10 a.m., following the VISD Academic Calendar. To learn more about the VISD Connections and the opportunities and resources available to our community, visit VISD Connections | Victoria Independent School District and follow them on Facebook, @VictoriaISD Connections.
